Our Principal

Welcome Lopes,

As the Principal at Antelope Valley High School, I want to welcome you to the 2014-15 school year.  This year The Antelope Valley High School will graduate its 100th class, proving to be a school rich in culture and pride.

The staff at The Antelope Valley High School takes your education very seriously and is committed to providing you a quality education and equipping you with the skills and experience necessary for any goal you set for yourself.  We strive to create an atmosphere for you to grow socially, academically, and physically by providing a wide array of courses, extra-curricular activities, and athletic opportunities.  We do this because we desire that all students who attend this campus be provided with options and opportunities that help to create well-rounded individuals.

In 2012, Antelope Valley High School established a Hall Of Fame honoring AVHS Alumni that have achieved great success after high school.  I am confident that if you take advantage of the educational opportunities here, one day you could be honored on our Hall of Fame.  I challenge you to dream big, contribute your own talents to our school and community, and get plugged in to THE Antelope Valley High School.

This is your school, your education. Take pride in being part of our “Lope Family.” We look forward to seeing what this year has in store for you.

Your Principal,

Jodie Radford
